81Bees formed as result of the City College of San Francisco Photo 81B film and darkroom class to continue the sharing of ideas, photos, and setup of photo exhibitions after the class ended in 2008. The 81Bees Collective weaves a tapestry of styles, techniques, and genres. From portraying nature’s beauty to portraits of the human condition, we celebrate our diverse voices in the stories that we tell. As a collective, we encourage one another in our collaborative projects, shared critiques, and shared knowledge. Individually, we uniquely strengthen the collaborative.
